TJ had been out to our house several times before because of other issues. What we loved about working with im was that he never pressured us into doing a project that would maybe fix the issues. He took the time to explain to us what he thought in great detail for us as first time homeowners.

When it came to our siding project, he was so patient with us and explained many things that we had questions on. His communication was fantastic throughout the whole process. He also helped us get a better vision for what our house could be and worked with us every step of the way. TJ has an eye for what would work regarding choosing colors and design.

We wanted a solid, local mom & pop business to tackle our huge and unexpected roofing/gutter project and we came to the right place! I asked my uncle, a life long, no-nonsense tradesman for a referral since he recently had his roof replaced, and he didn't hesitate to recommend K&S. TJ and I hit it off from the first consultation, he was very honest and transparent about everything from that point forward. The workmanship and attention to detail were fantastic, the roof is beautiful! I also had the pleasure of speaking with TJ's mom, Katie, a few times over logistics and she was very helpful. From start to finish, I am very satisfied with my experience with K&S General Contracting. We had our entire roof and siding replaced by the company. K&S is a family owned and operated business that truly values its customers. TJ did a wonderful job walking me through the details of the project, including the materials that would be used and the cost of the projects. He was very patient as I worked through selecting our color scheme, assisting but not pressuring me to make a selection that would be convenient for the company (as other contractors had tried to do). In addition, TJ was quick to respond to texts, calls and any concerns I raised. Katie who handled the financial side of the project, was responsive and patient. She handled the numerous calls and requests made by my insurance and mortgage companies promptly and professionally. What I ultimately paid was the exact amount that I was quoted. With an abundance of "storm chasers" ready and willing to take your money for subpar workmanship, I am very glad I did my research and selected K&S. I cannot say enough about K&S, and especially TJ. From the day he came out to do the original estimate, through the final walk through he was always in contact and kept me updated. The wife and I had a little issue with our original color choice. When he came out with samples we realized it would not work with our current window colors. TJ spent a ton of time with us suggesting other color combos. He also was very patient while waiting for us (ok, me) to make a final decision. We trusted his suggestion, and could not be more happy. Our house looks great. The crews he had working on the house were friendly, professional, and did an awesome job. They even commented that that like to work with K&S, and being a small business owner myself I can appreciate knowing that they treat their employees well.I am very hands on when it comes to home remodel projects, K&S let me be involved in every step as much as I wanted.
